We think that's backward.

Where it started

Born from Sunday-morning chaos

GraceSquad was built by a church volunteer coordinator who spent 3+ hours every single week juggling spreadsheets, group chats, and last-minute no-shows. The job was supposed to be shepherding a team — instead it was copying names between browser tabs every Saturday night.

After one too many Sunday mornings spent texting “can anyone cover the 9 AM?”, we stopped looking for the right tool and started building it — the one we wished existed. GraceSquad launched in 2026, and yes, that makes us new. We think that's a strength: modern, focused, and built from real ministry pain rather than a decade of legacy decisions.

We're piloting at our own church first, because the fastest way to build something coordinators trust is to be one — and to feel every rough edge in week one.
