Our mission
GraceSquad exists to give churches and nonprofits professional volunteer-coordination tools without enterprise pricing. The organizations doing the most essential work in their communities — the church plant, the food bank, the youth program run on evenings and weekends — are usually the ones priced out of good software. We think that's backward.
So we built one platform that replaces the spreadsheet-and-group-chat juggle: a true auto-fill scheduling engine, a full member CRM, child-safety check-in, giving, and communications — at a price a nonprofit can actually budget around. If you want the deeper case for the approach, read why we built GraceSquad.
Where it started
GraceSquad was built by a church volunteer coordinator who spent 3+ hours every single week juggling spreadsheets, group chats, and last-minute no-shows. The job was supposed to be shepherding a team — instead it was copying names between browser tabs every Saturday night.
After one too many Sunday mornings spent texting “can anyone cover the 9 AM?”, we stopped looking for the right tool and started building it — the one we wished existed. GraceSquad launched in 2026, and yes, that makes us new. We think that's a strength: modern, focused, and built from real ministry pain rather than a decade of legacy decisions.
We're piloting at our own church first, because the fastest way to build something coordinators trust is to be one — and to feel every rough edge in week one.
spent every week on coordination busywork — the exact problem GraceSquad was built to erase.
the year we launched — new, focused, and built for how ministries actually work today.
What we believe
These aren't marketing lines. They're the rules we hold ourselves to when we decide what to build — and what to charge for.
Not five disconnected tools stitched together with spreadsheets and group chats. Scheduling, the member CRM, child safety, giving, and communications live in one place that actually talks to itself.
Background check tracking, the two-adult rule, and QR child check-in aren’t a paid upsell. They’re built into how we designed the platform, because every child deserves a safe environment.
The Starter plan is free forever — no credit card, no volunteer cap that kicks in at twenty, no trial countdown. The smallest church plant runs the same software a 2,000-member congregation uses.
One plan, everything included — no per-module surprises that grow the bill every quarter. We would rather lose a sale than hide a fee, because trust is the whole product.

Everything a coordinator needs to run a team — in a single place, at one honest price.
A true rota engine that fills every role slot in seconds, scoring volunteers by skills, availability, and rotation fairness.
Blocking and warning rules catch double-bookings, missing certs, and overlaps before you publish a schedule.
Every volunteer, donor, and family in one directory with skills, certifications, availability, and service history.
Background-check status, two-adult enforcement, and QR child check-in with matching parent tags.
One-time and recurring donations via Stripe with fund designation and IRS-compliant statements — no platform fee.
Automated email and SMS reminders, confirmation requests, and swap approvals that volunteers act on in one tap.
